The Workshop, close to Newton-on-the-Moor is a delightful cottage that offers a cosy and intimate getaway for couples or friends. With its character-filled interior, featuring beamed ceilings and a stone flagged floor, this retreat exudes a traditional and charming ambiance. Nestled on a 22-acre smallholding, guests are welcome to explore the picturesque surroundings, making it an idyllic escape.

As you step through the front door, you are welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The open aspect living area showcases exposed features, creating a cosy and homely ambiance. Designed on a single, accessible level, the cottage boasts a lovely bedroom with a super king-size zip and link bed, our mattresses and bedding are of the highest quality, ensuring a comfortable and restful night’s sleep. We are passionate about providing excellent service and hospitality to all of our guests and welcome you to The Workshop.

The Workshop’s south-facing patio is ideal for year-round relaxation and perfect for couples seeking a cosy retreat. All amenities are conveniently located on the ground floor for easy accessibility. The open plan living space features a Freeview Smart TV for entertainment, a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom offers a zip and link super king-size bed, which can be converted into twin beds upon request. The Workshop also includes a shower room with a walk in shower and toilet. LPG central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, and Wi-Fi are all included. Guests can enjoy the enclosed back garden with patio and garden furniture for outdoor relaxation. Private parking for two cars and a vehicle charging point for electric cars are available.

Harry & Poppy, Lincolnshire

We had a wonderful 4 day break here, Judith & Paul were very helpful & friendly, the grounds have great walks for dogs, although for us the garden of the workshop was ample as we explored Northumberland by day. We ate out every evening. workshop was comfortable with some very nice quirky features, it was an ideal place to relax after a busy day walking, quiet & peaceful and lovely to watch the many swallows busy in the evening skies. We loved it as did our 2 dogs. We plan to return again.
